Here's the colors for the Tales From Wonderland: Tweedle Dee & Tweedle Dum one shot variant cover coming out soon.I'm always a bit nervous when I get colors back, but this one was a real nice surprise. I really like how it turned out. The best way I can describe the colors is "fresh". It reminds me of Easter for some reason. haha

Thanks. I'm in the same boat with you and coloring. I tried coloring something of my own a few months back and... well I won't be going pro any time soon. It really is a knock down to your self-esteem. lol. Yeah, hands are something I've always struggled with. I have the hardest time getting a grasp on them.

its amazing how fine something can look in b/w, then how fast it goes from 0-sucky when colors are added. oh well we live, and we learn and we practice.
hard time grasping hands eh, no pun intended i hope, lol. check out george bridgemans "book of 100" hands for a good reference. you should be able to find it at borders or barnes n nobles, amazon, etc. or for the budget conscious, keep a mirror by your desk. taking a picture of your girlfriend in the pose always helps, provided she's willing, or that you have a girlfriend...

yeah george bridgeman is the man. if you have troubles locating it, let me know i think i have digital copies of his books, i could hook you up with em.
fortuately my day job is graphic design so i sit in front of a computer all day and have the oportunity to work with photoshop and painter(when i'm not slacking off). i was told by some pro colorists that if you practice for one hour a day you;ll be good to go in a few months.
practice practice pratice. i wish there was a pill i could take and just wake up awesome!

I agree they really don't. i found a good book calles "Human Anatomy for the Artist". It's all photographs of people in crazy and dynamic poses. I think that's where I found the foot.
