Description
Ahh, the good old days, when Painter was still relatively new and came in a paint bucket and was amazing, because -- *gasp!* -- it had layered effects and brush transparencies and it actually kinda looked like you were really painting/drawing/etc on a canvas, ohmigosh! Except, of course, when you got into the image hose nozzle.I have to admit that I do sometimes miss-- well, not those times, exactly, but SuperPaint, which combined MacDraw and MacPaint, neither of which survived the transition to OSX. SuperPaint itself hasn't been around since... oh, '93, or so? But to this day, I have yet to find another application that does what it did as well as it did without all the hooha and extra options that just get in the way.
I still look from time to time, of course.
Which leads us to the above picture. It's the results of my play-around-test for Paintbrush, which... well, if it had a grid and a snap-to, it would probably be good enough to stop looking. Oh well.
「なあ、どうすればいい?」 translates roughly to the title.

Heh it's funny. I actually like the colors and shapes in this.
