I really like this evolution for Popplio.
Actually, the only evolution on that leak I didn't like was Litten's; which is sad because he's my favorite.

I can't believe there are still people doubting the legitimacy of this design. Mallow can be seen in the concept art of Litten's final form. And since Ash is there as well, the concept art is most likely for the anime, which means these designs are finalized. We just have to wait for Game Freak to confirm them now.

There's a rumor going around that some pokemon (like rockruff and the starters) will have split evolutions. Rockruff supposedly will have one depending on the island it evolves on and the starters will depend on something else.

I'm guessing it all depends on what Nintendo is feeling for, for all we know we might just get an Swablu/Altaria that typing ranges depending on the clouds? And if Nintendo is focusing on sub-species in general then we may possibly have more to discover with pokemon by going back to previous regions or to new regions with old pokemon in new environments.

I was leaning towards Litten, but if this and the others are the real evolution then I am switching to Team Popplio. I am not a fan of the wrestler Litten, and I almost never chose the grass starter(Not counting Turtwig).
