I am sooo going to have to pick up a print of this for my mother for her birthday next month (June 17th). Badger is her primary (Dragonfly is another major one we both have) and sadly she hasn't been able to get much outside of a couple skulls (at one point she had three of them), some claws (which she later gave me and I made into a necklace), and a bronze belt buckle that was given to her by an artist friend.

Wow its pretty. Is painting feathers easy? I always wondered... I would worry about the individual feathers coming apart as I painted.

Thanks! It's fairly easy once you get the surface down. The technique and composition is the challenge.
