This comparison was done by me and solely by me (if you differ in how the characters are compared it's totally reasonable).
My arguments are:
~Pam/Retsuko: A girl thrown to the system that is initially awkward but slowly gathers enough courage to be the best person she can be in a sorry world.
~Jim/Haida: A man who was in an awful-ass job with no reason to be, but finds a girl, he's scared to approach her, but finally ends up filled with self-esteem to be around her, despite the troubles and hardships.
~Angela/Fenneko: A girl who doesn't empathize with a lot of people, but slowly opens herself to other people.
~Dwight/Komiya: A man who likes to suck up to the man he adores, but has mind on his own and always manages to achieve his goals.
~Ryan/Tadano: A man with the wits and the intelligence, he doesn't exploit them enough but when he does, he can accomplish greatness.
~Erin/Tsunoda: A girl who wants to be friends with everybody, no matter if they like her or not, a little insecure but she can handle it.
~Andrew/Anai: A man with unstable mental state that slowly matures and turns into a better person, for his workmates and partner as well.
~Robert/Himuro: A man who is willing to do anything for success, has almost no scruples nor attachment to anyone, can be the best boss or the biggest asshole at the same time.

I'll do the rest of the coworkers someday if I stop being a huevon XD
