Simply amazing... the details and everything - perfect. The blurry parts doesn't bother me, even though I'm a perfectionist. Instant fav!

just the fact that there is a sharpeness and a blurry parts in the image makes it much more interesting then if it would be all sharp like you wanted.. this way you get much more dept in your Picture. I definitely love the feel and how the textures of the butterflies stands out so damn well..
i love it!

I like the blur in some place. It 's what seperates it from scientific study photographs and art. Nice work... always amazed to see detail like that.

This is a greatly detailed picture. I think the composition is slightly off, but I really have no way of proving this (Opinions are like armpits, we all have them and they stink!) Was there any more shots you took, or are they still around to take more, maybee positioning them differently, profile & head-on?? (I assume they are dead, or your the fastest shot around!) Anyhow, all things said, I really DO like your picture. It gives a look to something most people never see or take the time to see. Hope the critique was useful, and keep up the good work

absolutely fabulous shot. wonderful choice of title. i'm all praise.
the slightly out of focus bit don't matter so much, if anything, they serve to highlight the intense detail at the center on the image.

no question about it... take that as a suggestion

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 0

IvoryDrive [2004-03-08 23:52:28 +0000 UTC]

well, my only suggestion would be to make it a bit smaller, but at the same time, the details area what this shot is all about. I don't know I would just rather look at it all without scrolling (and I've got a 19" moniter running 1280x960). still, making it smaller would have less of an efefct on the viewer
