Description
Zelda never hit it off as a series of interest for me, but A Link to the Past in particular has a nostalgic spot. This is an abridged re-enactment of the opening portion when Link rescues her from the castle dungeon.

I looked at Zelda's original artwork at the time and at her game sprite and sort of melded them into my own little thing(and gave her a tri-force necklace ^^). I agonized over her hair color for a while: Officially and in other incarnations it's blond, but in the actual LttP game it looks a light or reddish brown.

Since I was roughly 8 at the time, that's the sort of age frame I had in mind as I drew this, but I tried to make them look their more appropriate ages anyway. Besides, no eight year old is that well endowed.
