Connections:

Undead creatures who are connected to souls of children (William Afton killed kids and there souls go revenge, and Phantump is the souls of undead children), they would lure kids and other people to there deaths by disguising themselves to fit in (William wore his Spring Bonnie suit, and Treventant looks like a tree).
Both of there bodies seem to be broken revealing what's truly inside of them (a decaying corpse and souls).
Both are also connected to fire, people would use fire against them so they can do what they want (Henry burned Springtrap in the Pizzeria, and Lumberjacks would use fire type pokemon to combat Trevenant).
