Description
On May 20th, 2020, Deviant Art plans to permanently retire the old DA site and force all Deviants to use Eclipse. While I can see some promise with Eclipse, I feel it is still far from ready for full implementation, as half the site's functionality still utilizes the old site's coding and what little functionality that is there suffers serious bugs. It also appears that once again, writers are an afterthought as many features that we rely on are being discontinued entirely, while no new ones to replace them are anywhere to be seen.If this change upsets you too, I encourage you to sign this petition: chng.it/RfMPZBk2wf
It may not change anything, but we can at least show DA just how much of their user base is against this change.
I also invite you to join me and thousands of other Deviants in #thesoundofsilencemovement on May 1st through 3rd, by not submitting art, faving, or even logging on to DA during that time to again show the DA staff the foolishness of this decision.
