i prefer tsutaja way more than snivy and smugleaf but it got on my nerves when they added an r to tsutaja to make it tsutarja

Considering Snivy is just-about an exact translation of Tsutaja, I don't see it making much of a difference. (tsuta=type of Japanese ivy, ja=snake, so, ivy snake, or, flipped around, snake ivy, mashed together, snivy.) I seriously don't see why people are fussing, because it makes perfect sense.
Snivy is the only English name I actually like.
