Description
A collection of weapon concepts for the Hidden Royal character for "Native", a game design exercise for Advanced Conceptual Illustration. The weapons are based upon an Indian throwing weapon known as the "chakram". Famous wielders of this weapon include Xena the Warrior Princess, Axel from Kingdom Hearts, and Tira of Soul Calibur (hers is a single giant ring as a opposed to the traditional double small rings).

This weapon is meant to function in a variety of ways. Initially, it was meant to be a simple round-bladed weapon, but soon it was decided that it should have the ability to be pulled apart into two halves that can be used for climbing and slicing. The chakram is also capable of being thrown and slicing through most objects in its path; when thrown, it will then return to the thrower in a fashion similar to a boomerang.
