It just felt worse. Like his mind was losing it little by little over time. Just a bad illness, it'll go, right ? A terrible incomfortable feeling, each breathe was hard to take. He felt like he was dying.
It's been days since the Finn has found the Noc. Three ? A week ? He doesn't know, he can't remember. Everything was blury now, his head was only screaming at him to rest, to sleep, for which time ? Probably forever. But... They were here. Always happy as ever. The creature he saved was by his side, and they'll stay, till the end. Lithin was happy, only that matters for him. That this poor Noc can be happy. He felt like someone was here for him, someone he could trust. Someone who appreciated him, at his true value. For once in his life. He smiled at the creature, with a weak expression, while laying on the ground. His muscles didn't wanted to answer, he was too tired for it. He closed his eyes a moment, but a sound of someone coming could be heard. That was them.

- Lithin.

He weakly raised his head. His tired red eyes looked at the young biped. What they wanted again ? Warn them about his friend ? Was they jealous ? He tried to stand back, with a bit of success, but it seemed like energy has left his body. The pet was riding on his back, looking with curiosity at the comer. The Finn didn't answered that the grey one was already walking towards him. He tried to look at them, at their expression, but the sun up above was burning his red reversed eyes. He couldn't see what's hapening, and he certainly didn't saw this coming.
It happened quickly. The instant he closed his eyes, the Noc on hiw back was on the ground, Silver at his side. They pushed it. The Finn took a time to react, to him, it was like everything was too fast, or maybe too slow ? But the only thing that matters is what happened. They did it. Silver dared to hurt his friend.

- S-Silver...?!

The Finn turned to his pet, trying to help them, but Silver immediatly blocked the way.

- Get the flick out of this thing! Are you blind or what?! It's clearly trying to kill you!

This time, it was too much. His ears was burning, his head was heavy, tears were trying to escape his eyes, but he knew one thing. That Silver went too far. Blinded by rage, he didn't hesiated to push Silver out of the way with his small horn, and standed between his friend and the Wyngro. He looked at the biped with rage, even if the illness was still here, the adrenaline caused by the urge situation gave him a bit of strenght to fight back.

- Silver are you gone crazy?! Leave them alone! They haven't do anything, they'll never try to kill me?! I saved them!

The grey one raised their body, looking at the yellow Finn full of rage.

- You're still trying to protect them? You really want to die or what?! Listen, I heard about this when I went to the town. The sherif talked about them, he was searching them, cause apparently rumors says that someone brought a spite to Wynsiph. Your friend IS that spite.

Lithin didn't listen to anything. Hearing that a cute, innocent and weak Noc was a spite sounded hillarous. He knows Silver with time.

- And what ? Now you care about me ?! Stop telling me these stories! I know it's someone else. You're manipulating me ? What do you want for me ? Are you jealous of us ?!

- Lithin I swear to Chii-

The moment they stepped, Lithin growled.

- I don't trust you anymore Silver. This "spite" like you said, was more here for me in probably a week than you in my whole life! You never cared of me. Remember what you said before we escaped ? That's right. I'm a Finn. I can help you cause I can fish and use magic. You... You only saw me like a tool for your dream to escape.

The silver standard looked at him, their ears dropped. It's true, they only saw him like an object more than a friend - but it wasn't that. They... Really cared about him now. That was probably hard to say, but taht was whay they were feeling.

- L-Lithin listen-

- Leave me alone! You only want to separate me from the only one I trust ? You already took everything from me! I shouldn't have joined you... I lost everyone, everything I knew... I wanted to help you to be happy by fulfilling your wish, and that's how you thanks me ? I'm not your tool!

The Noc raised back to hook itself to Lithin's arm, looking at the scene with horror. Silver looked at him, and at the Noc. They wanted to prove him he was wrong. But how ? It was too late. They looked at him for a moment, desesperate. What was they trying to do ? Maybe it was real, maybe it was not a spite.

- Lithin, I'm...

- No. It's over Silver. I can't stay with you.

The Finn silently stepped back, his eyes full of rage, and with quick movement, he helped the Noc to ride on his back before running away, disapearing far from the monster who took everything from him.

Silver looked at him, not knowing what to do anymore.

- I'm sorry.
