There's not a whole lot I can say about Futurama that's not already been said. It was one of my first adult cartoons I got into and has remained to this day one of my favorites. I've still yet to see the Hulu revival, but I'll get on that when I get a chance.

I'll start with the setting, it's amazing. A down on his luck average joe gets sent 1000 years into the future where he's met with complete chaos from literally everything around him. Fry is one of the best protagonists because he's just so relatable, anything he says feels just so real. Of course you get his colleagues, the badass superior to Fry turned love interest, eventual girlfriend turned fiancee Leela, his best friend Bender, the drunken robot, the even more unluckier and unpopular Zoidberg, by the book accountant Hermes, and the plucky low level intern with hidden depths: Amy. And of course we also have his very multigenerational nephew Professor Hubert Farnsworth, who like his uncle is an effective one-liner machine.

The animation is a step up from The Simpsons thanks to it's utilization of it's awesome CG shots and it's beautiful color scheme. The designs of the characters help too. To top it all off the incredible roster of veteran voice talent complements it's visuals. Every voice actor is well known in the industry and delivers on a grand scale.

The show is also mad consistent with not very many bad episodes (even the few that are aren't even THAT bad). The show is AMAZING, what more can I say. I hope the revival can keep it up. We'll see.
