Description
If you have used all of your DVD, than burn your USB Flash Drive and reuse it! It takes more effort and time, but its worth. Also you can burn .img files by some programs and restore it with a handy tool.Use DiskPart for setting up the USB Flash Drive to get ready for any physical data so it can be bootable.
Plug your USB Flash Drive and run CMD. Execute the following commands one by one.
Diskpart
Run Disk partition utility
List disk
To get disk index that is used to perform disk partitioning.
Select disk 1
Selects disk to perform disk partitioning.
Clean
Flush your existing all USB drive’s partitions.
Create partition primary
Creates a partition as primary partition.
Format recommended
Format your USB drive with recommended parameters. (No need to worry about file system format)
If you have customized WIM image and its bigger than 4Gb than you’ll have to format your USB flash drive in NTFS file system, therefore the command would be: Format FS=NTFS
Active
Set the partition as active to hold bootmgr.
Exit
To quit Diskpart utility
Okay anyways paste the bootable data in the bootable USB and boot with an option in BIOS.
Okay if your unable to boot, try this fix:
I:\Boot\Bootsect.exe /NT60 I:
Where I: is the drive letter of USB storage device!
The end, and next time ill show you how to burn .img files to your USB Flash Drive like physical drive like DVD or CD. The USB can be damaged, but ill tell you how to restore your USB Flash Drive!
