At first I thought she was posing like that to shade her eyes from the sun. But it wasn't. I think if she wasn't staring directly into the camera with that pose it would be a more believable portrait. And I say this strictly from a layperson's point of view. I never critique the pros, cuz "who am I?". But alas it's just an opinion. Still a fan.
