Here's a series of stock photos based on DeviantArt drawings that were volunteered up by their creators.If you don't photoshop a dick in my mouth, then I hate you.

If you ever find yourself wanting to draw similar poses, feel free to use these photos to guide your anatomy and gravity in the right direction.
The artists' names are on the drawings, they do not belong to me. Most were volunteered for me to use here. The drawings themselves are not references.

This is a great reversal of drawing references! It really hits home how so many poses we see in comics - manga especially - are actually quite unrealistic in real life. That and it really shows that knowledge of basic anatomy and movement are so so valuable. I may have to take a page out of ~shaunamobley 's book and give the poses a go. Have you received any feedback from the deviants whose works you referenced?
I'm favouriting this. This is quite an ingenious piece and I admire your ability to pull all these poses off! Keep up the good work!

Really cool idea, and very well done. Those are some almost uniformly awkward knee positions in the drawings that look fairly painful when shown realistically in the poses. One slight (unnecessary) quibble is that the legs are backward in the photo to go with wind box's drawing.

Haha, I mean no disrespect to the artists but this is part of why I can't get into the whole anime thing. The expressions and poses translate so horribly into real-human expressions and poses. That and a lot of them seem like stock expressions that can be pasted onto a face regardless of the character's features normally.
