And here is Molly, the youngest sibling of the Williams family.Again, this is my design for both the “younger” and “older” versions of Molly that will be appearing in the comic series I have planned, based on this wonderful fanfiction. www.fimfiction.net/story/71660…
She's kind of a hard character to talk about, as there is not a whole lot to her, either in the fanfiction or in the original show. Basically, she's there to give a little light-hearted humor.
I'm pretty sure my design for her "tweenage" self looks realistic enough. I wanted it to be charming, and relatively simple, but also true to modern life.
I also wanted to show her connection with Shady, which is alluded to in the original show a couple of times, and her affection is quickly transferred to Fluttershy in the fic.
I referenced an actual stature and weight percentile growth chart, to ensure that my choices for height and weight for both younger and older versions were realistic, and what could be considered healthy. sta.sh/027l7a1guola

Wonderful stuff. Can't wait to see the comic. Almost makes me want to check out the original series. Almost. (did see first movie, though...)

The first MLP movie was not a good representation of the best of that series. I also recommend avoiding "The Glass Princess" and the "End of Flutter Valley" series.
Instead, good episodes to check out would be "Crunch the Rockdog", "The Magic Coins", "The Return of Tembelon", "The Ghost of Paradise Estate", and of course the series pilot, "Escape from Midnight Castle".
There are others I could name, but I'll leave it at that. The above episodes are what I would consider to encompass the best of what that show had to offer.

The Glass Princess is something isn't as what I felt about it too, not my favorite though. End of Flutter Valley, watched that too, I love the Flutterponies, I can't say much about it but professional critics can. But if I have to pick the best villains, it's only Grogar & Tirek. The Witches wise, well, they're just not really all that smart.

The Flutterponies were great and all, but End of Flutter Valley was just a mess of an episode. It most definitely did NOT deserve to be told in ten parts, and it was clear the writer had no passion for what he was doing.
Indeed, Grogar and Tirek were the only really admirable G1 villains. I'd love to see one or more of them make an appearance in FiM.
The Witches were just painfully weak as villains, and once again, the last thing we needed was for them to be brought back in End of Flutter Valley.... -_-

Even the bees and such are a little not something I can sink my teeth into and also it's kind of long when it should have been a 2 parter.
Sonambula is temporary, but certainly not my favorite, I see Lady Bane from Gummi Bears is better than her. It has similar traits with spells and having old age in reality, but Lady Bane is indeed more evil. So far, I'm hoping for Grogar to come back when he's my childhood favorite, besides, 500 years after for so long is definitely the time to bring him up by now. Celestia had faced him once when Luna was not around and she won with her light prevails darkness. And of course, to have a proper army of goats than captured Troggles.
The Smooze has been quite a devastator as I can remember. 
Speaking of Flutterponies, I really wish to see an actual one, rather than just the last Rarity have those butterfly wings during Sonic Rainboom, an homage is nice, but surely the people will request to see real ones. Plus, I'm hoping for actual seaponies too. The one in the illustrated storybook doesn't seem to have the right style when it's meant for the book. For the show, let's just say Lyra seapony is the cutest one I ever seen.
