Description Loneliness
A nightmare
A dream world
Where nothing is the same

Is she coming closer?
Or she she far away?
Does it matter?
Do I love her?
Does she love me?
Nightingales sing all the while.

I sit alone in bed near tears
As darkness unveils all my fears
And no one suffers them all here but me
And the raven simply sits.
And stares.
And laughs.
Nevermore.

I wake to music from the sky
No longer do I wonder why
No dependencies or wants
No one to serve, no waiter anyways.
But for some reason
The mockingbird just sits outside.
Silent.

The doves begin to fly in pairs
And crows continue killing
The robins and the cardinals
Flap about and play.
Is the eagle happy, high above?

Lonely
But content
I wake into a dream
I love this life
No one to demand of me
No one to complain about me
No one to grab at me
No one to hold me
No one to love me
I return to my nightmare.
And the vultures just circle, waiting for me to fall.
