"F is for Family" is one of the better adult animated cartoons. It has adult humour but it also feels realistic and deals with subjects were familiar with. It works especially well becuase yeah families are all diffrent, 70's tends to get portrayed like the "Brady Bunch"? Its well written.

This really responded with me cuz I grew up with a dad like Frank, very ANGRY hair trigger man and what that does to you. I do love my dad but he is foul tempered everyone in our family knows it

Maureen can be a bit of a brat BUT I also have sympathetic moments for her, being a girl in those times sucks your not allowed to do much of anything(perhaps a bit exagerrated for humour but honestly not that far off from reality), and that scene with the school play, publically humiliated.

What suprises me is shes not as jealous of her sister as she could be. You would expect her to jump on Bridgets idea to sell her but, "It's not her fault, shes just a baby". Thats suprisingly mature for her character.

It might even be nice if they got close. She doesent really get on well with other girls, they think shes weird, so I think she could expose her little sister to her more "ungirly" likes, like science and stuff.
