This is just way too perfect. Those colors are the most beautiful used in a piece like this that I've ever seen. And I love the willowy, fluid motion the dryad seems to be in. Very beautiful.

I saw this as a featured deviation in a column on the site & I had to get a closer look at it! Now that I'm here, I'm not disappointed in the slightest-it's fabulous! 
I'm going to add this to my favourites & I'll take a look at your gallery after that!

I havn't tried colour yet, but I find, that with practice you can get good at anything. I only took up drawing again recently, but I've moved in leaps and bounds since I have.

I've tried pencil colours, but they're hard to get the right colour on paper, if it's not one of the pencils' colours you want. With the paint it is fairly easy to mingle them on the canvas... don't know how that'd go with pens...

Yeah, it IS really art nouveau! I really, really like it. So much detail, but it doesn't look crowded. Wow. My favourite part is where her legs become her roots. X3 So cool.

Great job! This is very pretty. I particularly like how the hair hair is branches and her feet are roots. The elements and coloration of this piece work nicely together to give it an enticing, peaceful look.

but it's really good esp on the legs~ the wrinkles part XD~ looks soo good
it's really unique how u combine bamboos (oriental) with roses and trees (european ), but u made it really gud u know XD with all the hairy branches~
