Whoa, what’s this!?

I’ve been working on this for a few months now, and finally the Mane 6 (and Spike) are finished! An updated version of utilizing my Headcanon Markings , or at least, starting off with that idea. With some of them, my designs eventually diverged.

The first pass of this you saw here;

Applejack is the tallest of the cast, and definitely the bulkiest overall. I tried to give every character their own unique body shape without going as overboard as I did with some of the concepts, wanting to keep it fairly grounded.
You can also see that I combined the original Unique Style haircut with canon’s, something I wanted to do with all of these.
One thing I noticed was that in the original Unique Style drawing, I tried to do my own unique take on each character’s hair as well, but in later drawings, I would replicate the hair of the canon exactly, and honestly, I feel like that was a shame.

Her markings were completely thrown out from the original markings concept when I saw ’s more recent Applejacks, and ’s Apple Family, I combined the two, though more of the latter. What I personally found most delightful was the fact that this pattern is, of course, the Appaloosa! I’m going to give most of the Apple Family this pattern, for obvious reasons.

I decided to keep the element of the Unique Style that was most, well, unique to mine the same. I didn’t see anyone do it before I did, though it was itself inspired from how drew the tips of her ears as sharing the eye color, I did the same with my eye colors and the hooves.
As well, in this one only, you can see the Cutie Mark colored horseshoes that are traditional to wear in my headcanon universe.
