Finished the Pear Butter and Bow Hothoof family tree! I have two more to post, one of which is done (Mrs. Shy (Petunia) and Hondo Flanks) and the other is a wip (Bright Mac and Cookie Crumbles). I'll be posting the 5th one after this one. Also, if you want to ask any of them a question: Ask Parentswap characters!***You may ask ANYTHING you want, providing it's not inappropriate. Mrs. Cake has to be AT LEAST late 30 - early forties and that's a NO GO. Women are NOT supposed to have babies past a certain age and I believe Mrs. Cake is beyond that age. (Not saying you can't, but it's real dangerous. So many things can go wrong and it's just not healthy at all - for you or the babies) So, for this reason, Mrs. Cake and Mr. Cake have already had the twins. They are going to be friends to/background CMC characters.)Pretty much everyone else is canon/the same, but their roles may be switched. I'm still exploring the storyline, so if you have a question for anyone not mentioned above (that are canon in the FIM universe), let me know! Ask away! About Universe: I wanted to do a Personality swap AU, but I mixed it in with a Parent Swap AU too. That means, the pony who is now another pony shares one of their original parents and one of the pony's they now are parents. (Example above: Applejack is now Rainbow Dash. She has Bow Hothoof as her dad, but Pear Butter stays her mother.) I'm going to be doing screenshots (from sceens that matter the most/episodes that actually matter) and redrawing them to put these characters over them. Gonna be fun, lemme tell ya. (And yes, the scenes will have their own stories too, when I finish the scenes.)
I didn't put the general lines between the ponies because I had an incident with the first family tree and it scared me, so I'm just leaving it like this. Maybe if I get brave enough, I'll add in the lines. (What I mean by the lines are the ones that you normally see with family trees. The ones that connect everyone and show how they're related and everything.)
(WARNING: I don't know if this will trigger anyone, but Grand Pear is lowkey abusive in this storyline. I didn't go into full detail as this is mostly a summary and to introduce the parentswap characters. However, if this stuff triggers you, tread carefully.)
Generation 1:
Pear Butter
- married to Bow Hothoof
- not really there for her family
- did not want to marry Bow Hothoof
- wishes she would've married Bright Mac instead
- she disappears often and doesn't come home until she feels like it.
- She ignores her family a lot (father, husband, son, and daughters)
Pear Butter and Bright Mac were in love. They were planning on getting married, conjoining the apples and pears forever. Granny Smith found out about it and wasn't happy, but she didn't shut it down. The second she saw what they were planning, she was actually...oddly happy. First time she ever felt happy about a pear. Bright Mac was her youngest child and he had issues with his health growing up. There were quite a few times Granny Smith was told he wouldn't make it through the night/day/week/month. She didn't approve of his choice, but hell, if he was happy, that's all that mattered. Granny Smith was in on the planning, and they all were planning on springing the whole thing on Grand Pear and telling him take it or leave it 'cause Buttercup was happy. They did, but the whole thing went south. No pony supported Granny Smith, Bright Mac, or Pear Butter (of the apple clan or pear clan) and it was a HUGE fight. Grand Pear grabbed his daughter, told Bright Mac to stay away or else, and they went home. (Grand Pear is quite strong, so she couldn't really get away. None of the pear clan agreed with it, so they didn't stop him. None of the apple clan wanted her, so they didn't stop him. Granny Smith and Bright Mac were too shocked to do anything.) Pear Butter was upset but was locked up where she couldn't get out. She was locked up for a while, only being allowed out to clean up, eat, and do anything that didn't allow her near the apple farm. While Pear Butter was locked up, her father found a stallion, who wasn't an apple or even related to Bright Mac, talked to his parents, and married her daughter off to him. Pear Butter was silent through the whole thing and to this day, never really speaks except in a REAL soft voice or when her family isn't around. They adopted a unicorn filly about two years into their marriage, just so Grand Pear would shut up about having grandkids. (Pear Butter was his only child, as his wife died giving birth to her. Pear Butter wasn't quite ready for kids yet.) After that, they ended up having their own children, again, just to shut Grand Pear up. They now have four children - one adopted and the rest theirs biologically.
Bow Hothoof
- Married to Pear Butter
- basically, has been a single dad to his children
- will do anything if it makes his children happy
- understands why Pear Butter is unhappy, but wishes she was there for their children
- often wonders what happened to that mare he dated when he was a wonderbolt (he doesn't quite remember her name)
- never forgets a face, but he does a name.
Bow Hothoof was a very skilled athlete that made it into the Wonderbolts. It was going great for him, but he was ultimately kicked out because he was dating someone who was in the starting ranks, Windy Whistles. Yeah, the Wonderbolts don't play when it comes to their members dating (each other, not in general). He didn't return home, instead, he went on a vacation type thing and was looking for someplace else to live, not wanting to go back to his parents. He came across the pear farm and took shelter in their barn. Grand Pear found him in their barn and was angry, only to come up with a plan. Grand Pear got Bow Hothoof to marry his daughter, Pear Butter with a threat (to this day, they're the only two that know what the threat was). They got married and ended up with four kids - one adopted and three biologicals.
Generation two:
Comice Tint
- oldest
- adopted
- changed her name when she was younger to be more "pear-like" at the request of Grand Pear
- may be blind (I really like the idea and, in the picture, that's why her eyes look like that. However, I am still debating whether or not she is.)
- cannot use her magic (basically, she has a horn and magic, but her horn's not strong enough to channel her magic)
Bosc Dart
- oldest biologically
- hates his hair
- wants to cut off his hair.
- has to be reminded to brush his hair in the morning
- his hair is naturally curly (like his mom's and sister's), but he got it magically straightened so it would be straight all the time.
Bright Red Anjou
- Grand Pear's least favorite grandchild
- closer to her younger sister, Starkrimson Bolt
- although there is not an ounce of red on her, her name is still "Bright RED Anjou". This was more of a "you can't change who I love dad" from Pear Butter. She doesn't know this though. She has no clue she is named after Bright Mac, or that Bright Mac's oldest daughter is nicknamed after her mother.
Starkrimson Dart
- Youngest
- Closer to her older sister, Bright Red Anjou.
- will be part of the CMC with the Apple twins and Lovely Rose's younger sister.
- wishes she could straighten her hair out permanently.
