That's because it doesn't pick up for at least... yeah, the beginning drags, and so does act 2 if you're not into it by then, and act 3, but act 4 and especially act 5 are interesting and then the intermission is pretty sweet. A lot of people have issues with the format of the comic but it's got more followers than any running comic I know and yeah
