In keeping with the Harry Potter theme of the convention, I created the map in the Marauders' style, with spells in dog-latin text filling the walls, trails and other structures. There's at least one Monty Python reference, several inside jokes and a lot of BS.
Some of the text is familiar like, "Veni, Vidi, volo in domum redire" (I came, I saw, I want to go home). While other bits are borrowed from the original Marauders' Map, like "Porticus Olidus" which translates roughly into "smelly gallery" which might explain why it's listed outside the lavatory on both maps. Then there is some original 'dog latin' which I will allow you to discover and translate on your own.

There are also some Harry Potter related spells (like colloportus, a spell that seals a door so that it cannot be opened manually.) and other protective charms scattered throughout.
