"It's hovering." Multiple gold bands, laced with diamond-shaped crystal, overlapped and slowly spun, distorting and casting light across the large ballroom.
"..Yeah." Reks let a grin slip to his mouth as he observed his fiancé's expression. Despite her fascination she managed to tug Reks's elbow to get them both moving forward again. The tall, lean muscled man led both himself and his lover to one of the booths on the far side of the great room.

"You can dance, right?"
"Well, yes, but.."
A smile burst onto Lilith's face as she grabbed her stumbling partner's hand and pulled. Her teeth parted slightly under the red lips that glowed in contrast with her skin, her eyes followed the smile's brilliance, made Reks's nerves jump, and he let himself be pulled from the comfortable red, velvet booth to the crowded dance floor.
