Internet Explorer is not useless, despite what she thinks. Sure, it doesn't always remember my password to DA, and occasionally logs me out randomly, but I don't care! Some days, I just feel like surfing the net with Internet Explorer instead of Firefox. And it's still useful; I've yet to have Adobe Flash crash on me while I'm surfing with IE.
Furthermore (in my case), it actually helps Firefox, too; it helps take some of the workload that is me opening a bajillion different tabs. Plus, my computer has an easier time keeping up, and I just like the tab grouping and the colored tabs.
(Besides, I'm using Internet Explorer right now. SO THERE.)

IE is still the best browser because it helps with the functionality of Windows and helps Windows to download updates, HTML scripting, accessing Windows Live Mail, messenger, etc. and the core of Windows system. That's why it is passively the best browser, but actively, it is not the best but it is still extremely helpful and compared to other browsers it is the best in helping the Windows system like synchronizing with Microsoft Windows, without IE Windows would already be dead

IE 9 and 10 in the Windows 8 Previews worked REALLY well in my opinion. MUCH better than 8. I know that IE 9 isn't new, but it is under-rated. Besides, Chrome isn't nearly as memory efficient!

As a web developer, I must say that this is the best version of Internet Explorer ever, and the only one that I would ever recommend.

For me it was when I started making homepages. It was so annoying to code CSS and getting it to work properly in IE. So I tried Firefox and fell in love with it.
