Hey, look, I finally came up with a good use for my username. How about that?Fillies and Gentlecolts, I present to you, *drumroll* my official OC/ponysona...Static Wave! I'll get into the details about him later (hopefully in comic form) but for now let me day that I guess he's more of an OC than ponysona, since the only thing we sorta relate on is our epic names and our love of science. Other than that, not much. Again, I'll explain more later.
For now, I was hoping that he'd be friends with the other OC's of deviantART. Anyone wanna be his friend?

Greyscale knows mostly about biology and a bit of chemistry. She's really bad with physics though. So now I guess our OCs are friends?

That's actually perfect cause Static's field of study is biological and environmental sciences. He dabbles in all other sciences like physics and chemistry, but mostly things like zoology. I guess so. ^^

Haha. Grey knows a lot of biology but just prefers studying animals by watching them (like her kitten and heaps of mice she's got somewhere. I am not sure how ponies keep mice, but she still has them). And for some strange reason, she likes creating explosions with candle wax and occasionally with scientific methods.
She'll happily discuss biology with Static once she's gotten over being shy ^^

Well, that's basically zoology. You just go out in the field, and watch, document, and record creatures. (I'm not sure either to be honest. I guess the just stick around with the pony) Explosions with candle wax?! That sounds awesome.

Thats definitely a Greyscale thing. She also just enjoys the company of animals too. (That just gave me an idea for a Greyscale picture) Yeah, it is awesome. You melt a candle in a boiling tube until it turns to gas, then fling the gas out of the boiling tube and it should instantly explode. It looks like fireworks
She'll get over it when she meets him. Which will probably be when Neon decides to push her into the situation of meeting Static.

Either way is acceptable to Static XD (Yay!) I don't even think they'll let me, the teachers will probably just kick me out. It is, especially trying to find new ways and things to blow up!

I think its more likely to be Neon pushing Grey into static. She'll be braver after that. Aw, the teachers should let you do it. FOR SCIENCE! New ways to blow stuff up are always awesome. There was another way that I forgot which was a lot more dangerous. And also pouring water on oil thats on fire makes an explosion.
I think we'll just see Neon's hoof in the picture. I'll definitely have one of her being evil afterwards though. And I wouldn't blame Static for being surprised.

Yeah, that seems the most logical. I know they should, especially since its for SCIENCE! The only ways I can remember by heart is classic black powder, dry ice, the candle thing now, and some mix of muriatic acid and aluminium foil. I learned the oil and water thing the hard way. XD You should, I'd love to see an evil looking Neon.

I only have access to candles, so I'm stuck with candle wax explosions. They're fun though. I learnt the oil and water way in German class (it was a strange class).

Really, only candles? Dry ice is pretty common and it's pretty cool explosive. But whatever works best for you. Sweet! Evil Neon is best pony.

Explosion not in the fiery sense, just big boom and shrapnel. Just put dry ice in a bottle of water, close the bottle and run for your life.

Oh yeah. Put it in a glass bottle and you actually have yourself a lethal weapon, so don't play around with it.

You can stick kill with plastic, but I'm not saying, cause it's pretty obvious how to. But they are VERY loud. My friend more than half a mile away then used plastic bottle ice bombs, and I heard it from my house. It was funny. XD

I'd say you might want to wrap it in like rice paper or something, and squeeze the bottle to get the air out, so it'll give you more time. Cause you don't want that bottle exploding right next to you.

I really want to come up with some form of gamer-related name and cutie mark, but I can't think of anything witty for a name, and anything generic for a game-based cutie mark is pretty much taken.

Like I said, names are hard, but the cutie mark, if you're looking for a gamer-related one, maybe something like a controller, the old classic kinds.

For cutie mark, that's the first thing I looked at. I've already seen OCs with those cutie marks, though. I've seen everything from Xbox 360 to Atari 2600. They're not giving me any leverage here!

I'm more of a PC gamer, but that is sort of hard to get that idea across in the form of a small picture. I pretty much grew up with that and a Nintendo 64, but I most likely have more hours clocked on a computer than the number of times Charlie Sheen has won. I do have an XBox 360, but that's sort of collecting dust. Don't have money to get more games than the one I have for it.
