Conqueror class nuclear attack submarine.

Conqueror class SSN is the student council's nuclear attack submarine. It is designed for covert sea control operation, attacking surface ships with her powerful barracuda 533mm heavy homing torpedo or harpoon anti ship missile.

She is also capable to engage ground target using UGM-109 Tomahawk missile.

The boat was built by British Aerospace Naval System- Submarine Solutions in Devonshire Dock Hall in Cumbria, England. The design is typical of British submarine design with "double curvature" fluid nose section with slanted torpedo tubes at the side of the boat.

This attack submarine is propelled with jet pump propulsion powered by two Sodium (NaK) cooled nuclear reactor of unknown type with power generation capability in excess of 150 Megawatt.

The reactor is known to be equipped with electromagnetic pump and unpressurized, thus improving the submarine's acoustic signature compared to conventional nuclear submarine equipped with Pressurized water reactor.

Sensor suites consist with underwater sensors such as conformal array active/passive sonar and towed array. Detection range estimations however is not possible due to high secrecy surrounding the boat. However our experts estimates that detection range against quiet (-110 Db) submarine will not exceed 10-20 km in favorable meteorological condition.

Non acoustic sensors are unknown, but we believed that Conqueror class might be equipped with wake sensing system and highly experimental gravimetric based sensor to detect surface ships based on their gravitational anomaly.

Silencing measures are expected to be extensive with anechoic materials and pumpjet propulsion.

Armaments are six 533mm torpedo tubes with 40-50 Torpedo load and various missile armaments. Countermeasures type are unknown but believed to be traditional decoy with launchers mounted somewhere around the hull.

Conqueror class is also equipped with accommodation for special operation forces, apparent by yellow line behind her sails indicating possible mountings for Spec-ops Delivery Vehicle (SDV) or midget submarine.
