Description
When you willingly give a helping hand that is not needed, with the "victim" fully unaware of the helping hand's true motive, only to realize too late when the "trap" has been sprung. Combining the genres of romance, humor and slice-of-life, a new Changeni (Chang x Leni) fan comic has been worked on out of another good idea. Additionally, two versions of this comic have been worked on, with this one obviously being the first.Taking two pages of my sketchbook to working on this piece, inspirations hail from how some of the married couples would often act upon each other in a playful manner as well as how some bug-eating plants wait for their victims to be fully unaware before striking. "Motion-capture" acting has also been tried out when needing to work on the action going on for the last panel.
For the title I've given for this work, it is an intended pun for when will it be for one to try making a move of taking his/her partner as wife/husband, with mostly being parents that would ask their kid that awkward question (When do you plan to rope him/her in?).
