Her mother was a gymnastics teacher and father a retired MMA fighter. Carolina quickly realized her love for the martial arts and threw herself completely into her training. Her training was at times harsh, forced But Carolina never backed down and earned the moniker of “Leoa” (Lioness).
Later she would travel to Japan where she sought out and joined the infamous Iga Ninja Clan. It was here that she mastered the Tekko-Kagi. Her rebellious streak soon found her in disfavor with the clan elders and she left before they decided to kill her.
After failing in a job for Julian Dyne, Caroline was subjected to genetic experiments and altered into her new form.
