There are a few videos that talk negatively about the fandom, especially the shipping and the rule 34.

Is this a widespread sentiment or not?

(I'm guilty of shipping too, mainly Euromede but as a toxic ship lol. Plus I don't really mind shipping, it's mostly either cute or angsty fun anyways.

Now to the rule 34... If it's in ball form, I can't help but find it not sexy, but hilarious, but there's no need to harass anyone as long as they slap a +18 filter on it. Maybe it's cause I'm 22 and have seen so much shipping discourse as a bystander that I'll just like what I like, laugh at what I find absurd and hilarious and ignore whatever I find disgusting.)
