Description
Bit of an art challenge / using this as a character model for the future: Can I draw the other side? What if she were facing the other way, looking out at the water?
A few 'cheats' I'm employing here:
1. The outline remains the same ~99%. I did modify a couple things I didn't like, but have no plans to update the original.
2. The background and foreground of the finished piece will remain as is. Only Ceylon herself is changing. To compensate for lighting, I have mirrored the background and foreground. The lighting for this piece will reflect the lighting of the scene. Therefore, it's not the exact reverse view, but a mirrored dimension sort of vibe.
3. Reusing as many previously-drawn assets as I can. It's a self-challenge, but I'm not going overboard.
4. I redid the shoe outline because they were at an impossible angle as seen from the back. We will assume this is because she is on a bit of a slope!
5. The nervous shoulder-clutching pose doesn't quite make as much sense as she isn't facing the camera, but I'm sticking to it anyway because it gives me a good overall future character reference.
