Health: From the moment she was born, Blue was a sick filly. Several times through her life her heart has stopped, even. Though eventually brought back by doctors and nurses. She's undergone 21 major surgeries, and her body is covered in scars. A feeding tube goes into her abdomen and down into her intestines. The feeding pump is carried around in a saddlebag. At night, it hangs off an IV pole beside her bed. Her mobility is limited due to severe arthritis, back problems, and other things. So she often has to have other ponies help her. More often than not, she is seen in a wheelchair or with a walker. Her body cannot stand walking around for too long, and she gets tired very easily. Due to this, she cannot run unless she has to. The few who have seen her actually run say that she is very quick, but only for a short distance. Like a cheetah. Her strength isn't the best, but she has an attitude that can pack a punch!
One thing anyone will notice right away about Blue Spectrum, aside from her fatigue, is the constant twitching. She suffers from severe fibormyalgia, and seizures. The seizures are normally not severe and last for a short while. It normally just looks like she is staring off into space. But she is fine afterwords. Medicine normally keeps most of her problems in check. However her health gets worse and worse as the years go by. Due to lack of sleep, and other issues, she has bags under AND above her eyes. Some say it makes her look almost like a raccoon. It is not uncommon for her to fall asleep practically anywhere, so long as she is able to rest her head.
Taxidermy: Blue Spectrum has a passion for taxidermy. While most ponies find it repulsive and even cruel, she views it as an art. Currently, she collects animal pelts. She plans to someday work as a taxidermist.
Personality: Dispite everything she has gone through, Blue Spectrum is a rather cheerful mare for the most part. Though there are days she is down. However, her best friend Twiilight Essence always finds a way to cheer her up! Even with her disabilities, she likes to make the most of life. She always puts others before herself. Every year for Hearth's Warming Eve, she brings toys and supplies to a local animal shelter. A rat and a dog accompany her within her home. When she isn't at the doctor's, she enjoys playing around on her computer. On which she makes art work. She is a very peaceful mare; it is hard to piss her off, and normally very easy to get along with Blue Spectrum. However, if you mess with her friends or really push her buttons, you better run. Even amongst her family, she is known to be somewhat sadistic. She is not afraid of punishment if it means defending her friends and loved ones.. Even if she and her family do not get along well. She enjoys rock and heavy metal-type music. Occasionally some pop, or older music such as jazz. Unlike most ponies, she is into gore and macabre things. And greatly enjoys horror movies.

School: As a young filly, she greatly enjoyed school. Most of her young life was spent in the hospital, until she was at least 5 years old. So having something to do was fun. By the time she was in the first grade, she was able to go to public school. Up until the 8th grade, she was always at the top of her class. Even when missing most of the year. However, around middle school, it began to change. Other fillies and colts picked on her. Whether it for her walking funny, her smaller than usual size, or even being the 'teacher's pet'. They often tripped her, or even threw her against the walls or on the floor. Her body was fragile, so she easily bruised even from that.

But by far the worst of the bullying was over her fear of fish. One of her teachers kept a tank of fish in the classroom. Her classmates often pretended to chase her around with the fish, until she was in an corner and crying. Although she told nopony of this bullying. Due to the fact that her four cousins went to the same school as her- One of them being mentally disabled. So aside from her own bullying, she stepped in to defend her younger cousin. Often she'd get called from class to comfort her crying cousin in the front office. Around the 7th grade, she began to have severe back and hip pains. At first she thought it was due to her sickness. However, the doctors confirmed scoliosis.

Just after the New Years, they did surgery. Although it would take many years for it to properly heal, due to complications. During the time in school, she had to have help. Particularly from a classmate named Harley. The two eventually fell in love. Blue Spectrum was disowned by her family upon them learning of her relationship with another filly. The bullying only got worse, and now even from her own family. One day she'd went to sit down, and a filly pulled the chair out from underneath Blue Spectrum. On the tile floor, she landed on her tail bone. She ended up having to go to the hospital. But she kept by Harley's side for nearly 3 more years, even when their relationship became long distance. However, they eventually split and are now on friendly-terms.

After much hard work, she graduated from 8th grade. Over the summer, she got a once-in-a-lifetime chance. To go to an advanced school near her. Kids would normally wait YEARS to get in, and had to go through several tests. Due to her academic success, she was personally asked. Which she gladly accepted. However, after about a year and a half, she had to pull out due to health. She changed over to homeschooling, although with the same work she'd normally have gotten. After about 2 years of homeschooling through the advanced program, she had to drop out into regular classes. Due to the fact she could not keep up, even being homeschooled. Her life is much easier now, though, without the extra stress. Now she can once more enjoy life than stressing over school all the time.

Appearance: Pale blue mare with a brown mane; covered in scars. All scars are from surgeries, cut-downs, IV's, and other medical things- with the exception of scars on her right thigh, which are from self harm due to stress. Rather tiny for a mare and often gets mistaken for being younger. Bags under and above eyes.

-Accessories: Blue glasses and a rainbow wristband around her left hoof. Carries around a black saddlebag with a rainbow strap, a peace sign button; carries feeding pump inside. Tube exits through bottom corner of bag and then into the stomach. She also has two metal rod in her spine, two giant screws in her hips, and wires on her rib cage; all of which are from surgeries.

-Piercings: A silver stud on her lower left lip. Three gold hoops in the top of each ear.
Daily life: For Blue Spectrum, her days do not as others'. Most get up, get ready for school or work, and such. First she'd get up, take her morning medicine. About 8 pills. Next she has to refill her feeding pump, check the dogs, and then normally goes back to bed for a couple hours. Her evenings are generally the same. She plays around on her computer, takes her medicine (About 7 pills), and refills her bag. Normally she messes around on the computer for a couple hours before finally going to sleep. Her days, when not at the doctors or busy at school, are spent talking to Twiilight Essence, and her special somepony- Moonphase.
