The song "Video Killed the Radio Star" by The Buggles is a nostalgic tune for me, although I haven't listened to their music extensively. During my time living in a student dormitory, there were three male dorms and four female dorms, each with a vibrant and playful atmosphere. For the first month after enrolling, we were made to dress in peculiar outfits and do strange things. The boys wore happi coats, skirts, and even cross-dressed, while the girls dressed up as Native Americans, cosplayed as Doraemon, and wore leotards. We attended classes in these outfits and occasionally danced in front of the school building.
There was one particular female dormitory that danced to "Video Killed the Radio Star" by The Buggles. They looked adorable, dancing under the spring's blue sky amidst the fresh greenery. Whenever I listen to this song, a bittersweet feeling wells up in my heart, even though I have long passed the age of sixty. By the way, during that time, my wife dressed up as a Native American and danced with the song "ten little Indian boys". It brings a smile to my face.
