Description Is a nod to a surf movie from the 60's - I think - called " Ride the Wild Surf " with Barbara Eden. Also, because I have heard about a couple of fresh water surf spots in Wisconsin. I decided I wanted to do a fun piece about it. Surfing there requires a thick wet suit - even in the summer - done some research, water is at 30Β° right now ( late july ). Brrrrrr!Β  - So I am pretty sure it looks nothing like the art. another comical side to it. and finally;, there is a hint at what it might actually look like, with this guy in the bottom photo, hopping from one ice block to another, on his way to the spot, I guess.

As someone who lives in-between Whitefish Bay and Sheboygan (in Grafton) on the lake, this piece is doubly fun.

Cool, now you should do one for surfing the Colorado River.Β  Apparently they are places in the river where there are rip curls big enough to "surf"Β  with an actual surfboard.Β  I'm familiar with people doing this with kayaks, (I've seen it in Clear Creek), I only stumbled into "surfing" the river when I found a video of a competition near Glenwood Springs.

Cool poster, I think there is also a song by Jan and Dean called Ride the Wild Surf.

Yes, very likely in Lake Superior. Β Coldest water I've ever touched.
