Sure, it's a slow pace film, but Alec Baldwin performance as Jack Ryan is alright. The story is simple, CIA analyst Jack Ryan thinks Soviet nuclear submarine commander Captain Marko Ramius is planning to defect but only has a few hours to find him and the submarine.

The story is good, the characters are well made, and the soundtrack is cool. The action sequences near the end is soooo good.

Overall, I can't have much to say, but The Hunt for Red October is worth watching.
