some more designs for Danny Phantom. It was a great show to work on, I was at nickelodeon for 5 years working on this. The good ol' days. Too bad they never made any toys.Related content

Jazz looks really differnt. And wore glasses at one point durring the developement. Nice.
I see a few characters with colored linework. I know Danny and the ghosts had special coloring to seperated them the human world but was there ever a discussion on weather or not to color the outline of all the characters?
That would either looked very cool or would have not complimented the thicker lines of Hartman's style.

God, I loved Danny Phantom. I think my favorite episode was Public Enemies. Wulf estis mia favorata karaktero.

Danny Phantom was the one Nicktoon, besides Avatar and the latest X-men, that perfectly mixed together comedy, action, and drama!!
Desiree, Vlad, Ember and Spectra were my favorite villians from the show.

man he was my favorite! great show, I don't have cable anymore so I can't watch it; but it's probably not on any more anyhow. they always get rid of the good ones and keep the crappy ones. like spongebob, talk about crap. and all the live action they are doing now. althought I did love Ned's declassified school survival guide. wow long title!

Never was a huge fan of DP, but it's very interesting to see the character art. It's also good to hear that you had fun working on DP.

Nickelodeon don't seem to know when they have something good. *stabs @ them w/pitchfork* Why is Mighty B getting all these episodes on DVD while DP has to be packaged with Spongebob and Rugrats.

Hey, I love THE MIGHTY B! That's the best new show Nickelodeon has now, IMHO. That's one show I hope they *don't* cancel just to make more room for more SPONGEBOB. Groan.
I mean, do you see 90% of the cartoon lineup on Nickelodeon itself? Nickelodeon seems to think that SPONGEBOB is the Center of the Universe (like RUGRATS before it).
It's not just DANNY PHANTOM, it's also MY LIFE AS A TEENAGE ROBOT, THE X'S and EL TIGRE, among others. I think they all deserve a better DVD release than they've gotten. On the other hand, Nicktoons is a nostalgic graveyard of the cartoons Nick canceled.

"The Mighty B!" IS the best show Nick has right now, and that is exactly the problem. Just like Disney, and I'm sure Cartoon Network eventually, Nick is throwing out cartoons for more "tween"(12-15 years old)-oriented shows such as "iCarly" and "Drake and Josh". In fact, the channel is only showing four shows today, "Spongebob", the two "tween" shows I mentioned, and "The Fairly OddParents" (which is decent, but it's pretty much gone).
"Rugrats" was at least good back when it was on, and its prevalence was a bit more tolerable because Nick always had something GOOD like "Doug", "Hey Arnold!", or "The Wild Thornberrys" to balance things out (when there weren't "Rugrats" marathons).
If it weren't for Nicktoons Network, I'd never watch anything Nick-related, outside of my "Avatar: the Last Airbender" DVDs.
