The very top wolf drawing, the one that's laying down: it looks almost exactly like a Milt Kahl sketch of Sher Kahn for "The Jungle Book."

What I'm saying here is you're in the ranks of Milt Kahl. lol

I love all the different styles! It's good to see how versatile and unique people can be. They are all so good I can't even choose a favorite.

Those are some wicked cool-looking wolves you've made, Mr. Silver. They're so blocky and curvy- it's like if Genndy Tartakovsky worked on Balto. My favorite one is the sarcastic-looking wolf with black markings on its chest there on the top-middle-right

Naw, it's the dynamic lookin' blue wolf on the left o' the guy in the middle, he's the best one. He's got this whole pent-up thing, like a real canine when you've got a stick you're about to throw, like he's ready to bound after it. Okay, so wolves aren't dogs, but the genes are still there, ain't they?
But yeah, this is GENIUS. God, this is something I've been lookin' for like for ages. I mean, mosta the wolf stuff I've found's just real shots - great for anatomy, but I need stylisation, examples of a more cartoony interpretation of their form. Not cheesy, just ... more the spirit of the animal than the reality. You got it, right here. Frickin' awesome. Genius. Thanks.

Always loved the combination of curves and straight lines- great dynamics. Each individual sketches have a lot of personality. My personal tastes make me like the more balanced head-body ratio, except when the exageration is more pushed (upper right corner). Gotta love that big brute up there.
The middle one comes out as my favorite: I do like the fact that it has a longer neck than some of the other designs (once again, personal taste).
Not knowing the personality of the character intended for the story, I may move my preferences accordingly- so many great choices to choose from.
People keep refering to Balto- I find certain small elements reminding me more of the russian Jungle Book animated film (Maugli).
Great work, as always.

Some of these are really quite stunning. I'd stick with a more curved look, though. The more square they are, the more they remind me of coyotes rather than wolves. I also think it looks better with more lines curved inward than out, and when the fur on their cheeks come to a defined tip, such as in the third down from the top right. (Though he's looking sideways, I can tell where it comes in)

I really like these although it's kinda weird how some remind me of other things, like the wolf in th middle makes me want to see Balto again and the wolf at the top (centre) makes me think of Scar from Lion King. I really like the designs where the fur is all swirly.

So many variation on the same animal. I like how people from animation can stylise in many different ways. I'm so just "realistic" in my drawing I admire that.

You just have really had fun with the shapes and designs in constructing these wolves. Their shapes differ from one another, too, not like in Balto where the wolves just look like clones of one another.

Nice designs! I really like the haughty pose of the top one that is to the right of the wolf head study, as well as the one that is sitting at the bottom left hand corner. I like how that one has an exaggerated upper body contrasted by a smaller lower body and balanced with the fluffy tail. All those curvy to straight lines in the figures really make them fun to look at.

OK I wanted to post a critique but I'm not a member ha.

I'm a beginner criticizing, but here it goes...

My favourites are probably the two non-blue ones and the prominent one on the centre. Maybe I'd wish more of that variety, with more exaggerated features like those three, but with that life and story every single one's got, it doesn't matter. None of them are there to fill in the page, they've got a purpose. The detail of the patterns is a real good idea, adds more uniqueness to each one (they're simple and even so very iconic)
