Description

This is my screenshot that I enhanced of Bela Lugosi's Ygor in Son of Frankenstein (1939) and Ghost of Frankenstein (1942), overshadowed by the popularity of Marty Feldman's Igor in the parody Young Frankenstein (1974). Bela Lugosi was the original Ygor. Bela Lugosi's Ygor had a broken neck. He wasn't hunchbacked, he was hunch shouldered. Dwight Frye's Fritz was the one that was hunchbacked in Frankenstein (1931). Marty Feldman's Igor is hunchbacked in Young Frankenstein because he was a parody of both Dwight Frye's Fritz and Bela Lugosi's Ygor.
