Good afternoon my friends!

Today is day two of inktober. The theme was wisp.

I hadn't been feeling the best today. Weather is overcast, the temperature is chilly and my happy light wasn't helping.. I needed to draw. So.. here is my feelings in the form of art.

I have been feeling sad about how many people we've lost due to covid. I had been thinking about how I lost my grandma just a year ago. She was my number one person. I wondered if anyone looked after these new souls--from pets and people alike.

Here is Perla. Doing what she does best and taking care of who've gone on before us.

This piece is dedicated to those we've lost along this journey called life, to those who didn't get a chance, to those who died alone, to those who are gone too soon.

Perla's job is to find these scared new souls and comfort them as they transition into their next existence.

This year is a little extra hard. Trying to stay positive through art.
