My opinions are not meant to be an offense towards people who like these characters. Don't take it too personally. You can disagree with these choices, but don't harass me for disliking them.

10. Prince Fjord (Hans Christian Andersen's The Little Mermaid anime)
Why other people love him: They like Fjord due to his bravery. They also think he is a good match for Marina.
Why I hate him: I personally thought this version of the prince was one of the movie's weakest aspects. Granted, I didn't mind this adaptation or the original story it was based on. I just don't like Prince Fjord as a whole. Fjord was indecisive when it came to his relationships. At one moment, he tells Marina he wants to marry her while the Suomi princess is away. He somehow changes his mind later on and agrees to marry the latter princess. He even misled Marina and didn't realize she saved him until she jumped in the ocean and died. Fjord is easily one of the few unlikable characters in this movie next to his parents.

9. Michal Amagi (Mermaid Melody)
Why other people love her: They feel bad for Michal due to her being lonely. Some of them also think she is a good partner for Kaito. Then again, saying that almost every person loves Michal would be an exaggeration.
Why I hate her: Michal was extremely clingy towards Kaito. She treats him like a possession. I get that Michal didn't have friends, but it still doesn't excuse what she did to Kaito. Michal also gets jealous when he isn't near her and actively forces him to return her feelings. What's worse is that in the manga, Michal even removed her clothes to get Kaito's attention. All I can say is, I don't blame Kaito for turning her down.

8. Brittany and Whittany Biskit (Littlest Pet Shop)
Why other people love them: They find the Biskit Twins to be entertaining villains.
Why I hate them: Both girls are annoying and obnoxious. They tend to be incompetent when they come up with their plans. Whittany and Brittany also don't own up even when it's clear that they were being jerks. And get this, the main reason the Biskit Twins were mean to Blythe was because she didn't want to hang out with them. That's not really a good motivation for being evil.

7. Squilliam Fancyson (SpongeBob SquarePants)
Why other people love him: They like Squilliam as an antagonist.
Why I hate him: Squilliam brags about his accomplishments to make himself look better. He also taunts Squidward every chance he gets. Squilliam has no problem dismissing other individuals as inferior compared to him.

6. Lady Tremaine (Cinderella)
Why other people love her: They think Lady Tremaine is a great villain.
Why I hate her: Lady Tremaine overworked Cinderella and emotionally abused her on a regular basis. She was also cruel to Anastasia in the sequels. Maybe it's just me, but I can't help but feel that the hate towards her is justified for these reasons. Good thing Lady Tremaine got her punishment in A Twist in Time.

5. Stanley (A Troll in Central Park)
Why other people love him: They find Stanley to be funny.
Why I hate him: Now, I'm not trying to form my opinion on Stanley based on what others said. I mostly thought he was very annoying. In my opinion, I don't consider Stanley a likable character despite him being a hero.

4. Cozy Glow (My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic)
Why other people love her: They think that Cozy Glow is an entertaining villain. Some of them also think she is cute.
Why I hate her: Cozy Glow didn't really stick out to me. For the most part, I thought she wasn't that memorable as a villain. Cozy Glow also tends to manipulate others to get what she wants (for example, that time she turned other ponies against the Young Six).

3. Countess Cassandra and Chimera (Winx Club)
Why other people love them: They think Cassandra and Chimera are decent villains. Some people also want them to redeem themselves.
Why I hate them: Chimera and Cassandra were unkind to Stella and they don't have redeeming qualities. In fact, they transformed Stella into a monster, put King Radius under a spell and made him turn against Stella. They even discarded Radius when he was attacked by a dragon. The few things I like about them are their designs and their Nickelodeon voices, but that's about it. Chimera is also a hypocrite because she accused Stella of being a brat even though she acted that same way. As for Countess Cassandra....yeah, her motives weren't convincing. She wanted to marry Radius so she could take over Solaria. Cassandra is pretty much the Coco LaBouche of the show.

2. MacKenzie Hollister (Dork Diaries)
Why other people love her: They think MacKenzie is a decent antagonist. Another person claimed she was misunderstood.
Why I hate her: MacKenzie did a lot of terrible things to spite Nikki and her friends. That includes writing "Bug Girl" on Nikki's locker, manipulating Chloe and Zoey into joining her dance group, locking up the girls during the Holiday on Ice show, trying to get them kicked out of school, and framing Nikki and Brandon for animal abuse. In the eighth book, MacKenzie even threw a dodgeball at Nikki so hard that she was left unconscious. She denied it when Chloe and Zoey called her out. The hate directed at MacKenzie makes sense for these reasons.

Why other people love him: They think Mr. Pickles is cool.
Why I hate him: Mr. Pickles frequently kills people and gets away with it. Therefore, I don't think he is a main character that anyone is supposed to root for. Mr. Pickles' murderous actions are part of the reason I don't like the show as a whole.
