I can assure you that ordinary people (like me) don't notice any mistakes at all. Besides, it does not matter. It's through your mistakes that you learn the best. But you have a wonderful authentic talent and I think that nobody will object to this!

You are wrong, you know. You can always get better... or at least feeling better with what you do! I still believe that your work is awesome and there is something unique in it. I have seen quite a few illustrations but yours are far above the others (I am VERY serious.)
For the commissions, just have patience and faith. I will recommend you to people as much as I can (I already sent your name to a writer who wanted illustrations for a book for children) but if this does not work immediately do not worry. Last year, almost all the stories I sent to magazines were rejected. Not because the stories were bad, but because they did not fit in the magazines or because I am not known enough. I got depressed too for some time.
Then I thought "to the hell with them". I started working on comic scripts and I decided to find a publisher for the fairy tales you are illustrating(to start with. Other books will follow...). I am convinced that all this will work better.
Keep up with your excellent work, do not get depressed. You are a wonderful artist; it's a matter of time that you get noticed.

Don't worry, take your time! I tend to be super-slow with art myself. Sometimes it takes me months to finish a sketch.
