Atlas is what Deamoni calls himself when the gender dysphoria gets to him enough. Since he no longer has access to the shapechanging abilities Deamoni once possessed, he cannot relieve the stress in small bursts and has to fully switch over to he/him pronouns and as male an appearance as he can get through conventional means. He even significantly alters his behavior, body language and even his accent and word choices.
But Deamoni's friends don't really know this side of him. Sam and Jade are AWARE of Atlas, but not really who he is in this form. So he is taking advantage of the Halloween party to subtly introduce this side of himself to them.
There are some...drawbacks...admittedly.
