Most of the time I play as Coach.For some odd reason I keep accidentally stepping on the Witch, I can't even hear her warning growls half the time and BAM! I'm down on the ground.
YOU WOULD THINK that to have big dude like Coach stepping on a frail thing like the Witch would like, snap her in two or something.
Iunno.

I laughed.
You can actually kill common infected in-game with a Goomba stomp. If they're climbing up something to get to you, just jump on them and they die.
It's even possible to just walk over the infected you find lying down on the ground. You save bullets that way.

It's not too hard, really. Next time you're on top of something and zombies are climbing up, just edge yourself off and you'll crush every zombie under you.
As for stepping on prone infected, it helps to turn off your flashlight. Common infected are attracted to the flashlight, too.
Don't try it with special infected, though. Doesn't work on them.
