I really love this, but would like to request it with blue tones if possible... *but* keeping the colouring of the actual... uh... cytoplasm. Just a blue background.
Would that be possible at all?

Why can't they have pics like these in biology books? School would be a lot more fun for kids that way!
Amazing work! Deserved to be a DD!

Very organic looking.. and to be honest, this could be an STD bacteria. Great work though.

Nice job!
As an aside: This is incredibly intriguing... forgive me for my obliviousness, but is it supposed to be something more than abstract art?

For some reason, the wrinkled surface on some of these just makes them look more ominous.
I know that's a common feature of microscopic life, but most of us still tend to associate smoother surfaces with healthy and/or ripe organisms, and wrinkled ones with unhealthy or decaying ones.
