Description
This is the one image I made that didn't take place or show something on the Sunken Continent. It's on Fire Island, as shown by the altitude difference between the foreground and background. It served as the cover illustration for my aborted story "The Desperation Advantage," which told the story of what happens to a clan when it is politically turned into "non-people", and all of their assets are up for grabs. It doesn't end well for that clan, and you see all of the survivors in the image "Exodus". There aren't many, but they take a lot of their enemies with them....
