Alright. Here's the Batman picture I have been working on. As you can see it's still a work in progress
Inspired by Jim Lee's work with him.
I have just got my very first graphics tablet and I'm practising getting the hang of it by trying to colour this picture that I inked previously.
I've still got a long way to go but since this is the first time I have used a tablet I thought I would throw this out there to get people's thoughts so far... or if they have any advice for me when working with a tablet.

I'm splitting my time between 2 pictures at the moment. This Batman one and another one I'm doing in pencil

Yeah i feel ya. I've got so many friggen works moving, i'm not sure what i'm doing. Either way i'm done for the night with my wip, get back to it tomorrow. Soon as i'm done i get to work on the fun image of Nara.
Just remember to blend outward from those inks, man. This picture could be nuts!
Also, if you know where the apply lighting feature is, take a solid blue/black over the night sky and color it one color. Then you just use the apply lighting feature (make sure it's on its own layer) to where a moon is or even to get the soft gradient, add the lighting and bam! A good lookin night sky

Yeah, I have a bad habit of doing too many things at once, I have the two I am working on at the moment and probably about another three that I have started and put to the side for now.
I really need to learn to do one thing at a time

Lol, i have a bad habit of starting about fifty images and never finishing them. I can't seem to keep focus, i start a picture and like it, them become bored and think of something new that i would like better. I was working on that Naomi image...but i need to try a 3d effect, so now i'm starting the Mosh one and scrapped everything else lol.

Now I try and get my pictures done as quickly as I can (which isn't all that quick really) otherwise I get bored and move onto something else
I found a couple of old drawings (like years old) that I never finished that I am toying with revisiting

Hey, revisiting is great. I understand the rush thing. I only work on an image for about 6 hours before i clock out and say whatever, but that's only if i enjoy it. I just remember that it's all for a learning experience, so if i'm drawing something that iv'e already practiced on, then i need to work on something that has features that i really have trouble with. That Naomi image...well i can do it just fine with enough time, but this new one i'm trying somethin iv'e never done before.

I work like a dog during the week and end up spending the weekends doing work around my house so I tend to have stuff all time to do any drawings. So I can spend maybe a couple of hours doing one drawing but that would be stretched out over a whole week.
I'll have to have a scratch around to see if I have any older drawings I can put up. The oldest in my Gallery is probably my Spawn picture which I did probably 15 or so years ago, but I tinkered with it in Photoshop recently

Yeah i know what ya mean. I'm sort of on a lazy week, i'm supposed to be doing things...but screw it for the week lol. I want to paint.
What i do when i need time to paint or draw is cut out things that i normally do anyway, like eating

I have some holidays coming up close to Christmas so I am hoping I can put a dent into some bigger art projects that are rattling around in my head.
