Wow. This entire gallery takes me WAY back. Do you know who Stephen Gammell is? He was the illustrator for the "Scary Stories to tell in the Dark" series. Your works have that same amazing, creepy, erie, feeling. I just can't pick one as my favorite. Yes, you are, indeed, a Silent Hill fan. Might I reccomend the film "Jacob's Ladder", if you haven't seen it? You probably have, though.

the horror/fascination of the nearly-dead bird we found flapping around on the ground... the dread/excitement of the idea to dig up a human body from the old abandoned cemetary... the insane heat/brain numbness first time i felt a naked female body against mine... the amazing thrill of creation on completing my first real painting... yeah. something like that.
