Ive always liked the Pixar Lamp Character and his doings.. so i have gone and started to create my own "copy" of the critter
It started because i was talking to one of the guys from [link] and i couldnt think of anything to model so i asked him ( Johan Auster ).
I asked him for an image for reference, and he game me the good ol' lamps from pixar.. so away i went and started modelling..
The low-poly model turns out to be 268 poly's which i thought was remarkable considering my limit i set was 400.. being under is ok
You cannot notice it too much because the camera is pretty far away from the model.So here it is..enough of my bullshit
Enjoy. There is still more of this to come.. this is only about 1/4 way complete. Yes it is scratchy i know.. i may fix it up

Hmm if I remember correctly an animation like that used to be a GeForce 3 realtime render demo when those cards first came out
