Here's a special subject - Proper fanart of a video game. I've been playing altogether too much of Endless Legend these days, so I randomly decided to see if I could claw together a loose approximation of one of the playable races, the Broken Lords. Another fun experiment in full armor design, with a fairly bulky, heroic build.

For anyone curious about the local lore: The Broken Lords are a civilization of chivalric knights who, in order to survive the many cataclysms wracking their native world of Auriga, willfully converted themselves into ghostly suits of armor. This procedure came at a price, of course - in order to keep existing, the Broken Lords need to consume Dust, the magical substance that permeates the world.

Collecting and refining raw Dust into a form that can be absorbed takes time, however, and many Broken Lords have discovered a far easier and more satisfying way: Directly draining the Dust energy embedded in all living creatures. Naturally, this has led to a serious moral crisis among the upright and honorable people of the Amber Plains, and serves as the basis for their story in Endless Legend.
